IDW

- International Development Week 2013 -
"I am Making a Difference - Empowering Women and Girls"

ACGC is gearing up for this year’s International Development Week (IDW) which will take place February 3 - 9, 2013. It is celebrated annually during the first week of February, and provides a unique opportunity for Canadian organizations and individuals to share their successes and achievements in international development. IDW is supported by the Canadian Internatinoal Development Agency. As part of this year’s International Development Week, ACGC will be releasing another issue of our "Top 30 Under 30" Magazine, which profiles 30 examplary young people engaged in international development. The magazine is printed and widely distributed during International Development Week.

Please look in the box on the right for specific information concerning our "Top 30 Under 30" Magazine, and this year’s "Youth Day."

IDW provides an annual opportunity for Canadians to:
•Learn more about Canada’s role in international development and the important contribution of many Canadians in developing countries;
•Learn more about life in developing countries;
•Find out how they can become active global citizens and get involved in international development.
