The Sustainable Development Goals Hub
Michelle Kim, is one of the Co-founders of UN Sustainable Development Goals UAlberta Coalition and executive member of various student groups. She worked on promoting the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals onto the University of Alberta campus and into the greater community through education, campus & cross-campus outreach, policy advocacy and partnership. She finished her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry with certificates in international learning, sustainability and Global citizenship this year. She is a strong student leader, advocate and researcher in Edmonton who continue to strive hard to improve campus, community and the international community. Her love for international community work rooted from her growing up in 3 different countries including South Korea, Philippines and Canada. She experienced various level of inequalities in these countries leading her to create changes. She is passionate about goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, 4: Quality Education, 10: Reduced inequalities and 17: Partnerships for the goals. She strongly believes that “No one can help everyone but everyone can help someone.”
