The Sustainable Development Goals Hub
Priscilla Ojomu (she/her) is a Nigerian-Canadian with big hair and dreams to tackle the big problems in the world. Priscilla is a third-year Bachelor of Arts student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology at the University of Alberta, where she is involved in community engagement. She is a Student Representative on the Arts Faculty Council, VP Marketing for the Equality Club UAlberta, and Blog Writer for Women Empowering Women.
Based in the small town of Three Hills but connected everywhere through the internet, Priscilla came across the incredible work happening at The Hub. Driven by her advocacy for social justice, Priscilla views her Hub experience as an opportunity to expand her knowledge of the SDGs, engage in impactful community projects, and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Having seen the firsthand effects of inequalities, Priscilla is most passionate about SDG #5 (Gender Equality), #10 (Reduced Inequalities), and #16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). She hopes to develop projects that work toward these goals.
Priscilla aspires to continue her education at Law School (Human Rights Law), so when she’s not busy studying, you may find her designing, writing, reading, drinking tea, or advocating for positive change in her communities and beyond.
