Is the next component of the Development in a Box program!
Presently five Alberta youth are visiting Ethiopia and connecting with Alberta non-governmental organizations and their partners! The tour will take place from July 6 – 18, 2010.
The youth are blogging their experiences - check it out! and share some of their experiences!
Through this incredible opportunity the 5 youth are gaining first-hand knowledge of Canada’s international development efforts. The youth will meet with staff and volunteers from local organizations, as well as community members who have been affected by international development efforts.
In the Fall, the youth will participate in a speaking tour, sharing their experiences and perceptions through a presentation and video they will create during their time in Ethiopia. Stay tuned for more information - or contact the ACGC office.
