The annual gathering of the Change for Children community is a unique opportunity to connect with our work, to learn about current initiatives, and to see the impacts of past projects. It promises to be a lively event fueled by the energy of this passionate community!
Three Miskito Indigenous CFC staff persons from Nicaragua will participate in knowledge sharing events in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the NWT to share learnings from our Local Knowledge: Global Goals project. Tony Llorente, Edda Muller, and Alonso Joseph will meet with NGOs and Canadian First Nations for an exchange of experiences and knowledge with respect to the contribution of traditional Indigenous knowledge to climate change mitigation and recovery and sustainable development. They will also share their experiences at the Development Dinner.
