November 20 is recognized as National Child Day in Canada, and World Children’s Day internationally. November 20 is Canada’s official day to celebrate their rights in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Hosted in partnership with BGC Canada, Equitas, the National Reconciliation Program at Save the Children Canada, Plan Canada, the Students Commission of Canada, and YMCA Canada. On November 20, join UNICEF Canada, youth advocates, partner organizations, and decision-makers for an intergenerational event to hear directly from young people about their ideas and recommendations on 2SLGBTQ+ Rights, Child Labour, Education, Healthcare and Mental Health. Youth advocates will also launch the 2023 Reimagine Playbook. This event will be available in English and French.
