About Us
The Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) is a Canadian charity and licensed engineering firm based in Calgary, Alberta. CAWST addresses the global need for safe drinking water and sanitation by building local knowledge and skills on household solutions people can implement themselves.

Give a gift that endures beyond this holiday season
Your donation to the Gift of Water campaign provides the gift of community, knowledge, joy and hope to people all over the world. Your gifts will increase water knowledge to equip individuals with the skills to create lasting change in their communities. When you support the Gift of Water campaign, you support safe drinking water for all. This year you can designate your gift to give directly to technologies, learning or partnerships: three pillars that we believe are crucial to empower others to take care of their communities’ water, sanitation and hygiene needs.
Transferring knowledge to local partners, we strengthen their capacity to serve as community change agents and regional Water Expertise and Training (WET) Centres. Your Gift of Water can help us welcome more partners.
