The British Columbia Council for International Development (BCCIC) is looking for a passionate person to join our team as the new Program Officer: Lead on Policy, Social Movements and Knowledge Exchange.
The role is about drawing on the knowledge and experience that is “out there” in communities around the world towards a more just and equitable world. And from there, about how Canadians can bring that knowledge into their own action, for Canada to move forward with a more informed analysis. The successful candidate doesn’t have to be an expert in it all, but they do have the proven capacity to listen to the voice of people in their diverse expressions and languages, and identify with them the barriers that could be lifted in their roadmap towards the quality of life that they themselves define.

- Do you have first-hand experience with the obstacles international cooperation organizations face in their work/partnerships?
